INIVIT presents The Sweet Potato System: A Legacy of Over 50 Years in Book Form.
After more than five decades of research, field trials, and collaboration with producers, INIVIT presents its most significant work: The Sweet Potato System (also known as Camote or Batata). The 22 Scientific Laws for Maximum Yield in the Tropics.
It is the culmination of a lifetime dedicated to understanding the plant, listening to it, and deciphering its signals. It is the result of harvests gathered under the sun, of failures that taught more than successes, and of the perseverance of generations of researchers. We have written what we have experienced.
The book is based on the experiments and scientific results of Dr. Alfredo Morales Tejón, who dedicated his life to unraveling the genetics and physiology of the sweet potato.
The path to 50 tons per hectare is clear. It simply requires following the laws that, in reality, the plant has been waiting for us to comply with.
The book is now available in digital format. With it, INIVIT reaffirms its commitment to Cuban agriculture, putting science at the service of the countryside, with humility, rigor, and the certainty that the sweet potato still has much to teach us.
Welcome to the system.
